The relationship between science and social science in Canada is an evolving one.  It is one best illustrated through the evolution of Genome Canada. This brief, by Ryan and Phillips, outlines the interface models that have developed over the past 10 years under the umbrella of Genome Canada, featuring the structure of the Applied Genomics on Research in Bioproducts or Crops (ABC) and the role of VALGEN in facilitating links between science and social science.
